What is Howlite Magazine?
Howlite Magazine is an independent digital creative arts magazine based in Central Ohio. Howlite Magazine was founded with the intention of offering a space for creatives in all mediums to be recognized for their passion and as a space to find community of like-minded individuals.
Why the name Howlite?
Howlite Magazine is named for the opaque white or light grey porous stone that features black or brown web-like veins. Howlite is known as the stone of patience and wisdom that encourages people to follow their passions. Howlite Magazine was built out of trying to find the right words, right time and right place to share them. The time is now to make our artistic ambitions a reality!
Who can submit work to Howlite Literary Arts Journal?
Anyone interested in having their work featured in an indie publication! The hope is to open submissions to local creatives in Ohio, but we are happy to expand our range. Howlite is small now, but we are patient and willing to create something meaningful!
